Audit ?
|
|
This involves a visit by lawyers from PEDRO EMMANUEL to the offices
of the Charity to have sight of the Governing Documents and other
books including the Register of Members and Minute books.
During the visit PEDRO EMMANUEL would speak to the Charity's key
personnel and complete the Good Governance Compliance Questionnaire.
Following the visit PEDRO EMMANUEL would prepare a Compliance
Report.
Where lapses have been identified, PEDRO EMMANUEL would suggest
remedial action which must be carried out by the Charity within a
specified period.
Where there are no lapses, PEDRO EMMANUEL would reiterate the need

Whether or not there are lapses PEDRO EMMANUEL would schedule

Why |
The Good
Governance Compliance Audit ?
|
|
IN the recent past, the Charity Commissioners have intervened in
several Charities, including Churches. Some of the interventions
have been high profile.
In some cases they have exercised their power to appoint
administrators under the Charities Act 1993. Fortunately or
unfortunately this trend is set to continue for the foreseeable
future.
The single most important reason for intervention is a failure by
the trustees to act prudently, lawfully and in accordance with the
Charities Act and their governing documents.
In the experience of PEDRO EMMANUEL the only way to avoid the
intervention of the Charity Commissioners is to institute a culture
of good governance.
And this is where PEDRO EMMANUEL comes in. Speak to us today and
save your Charity. We are only a phone call away!
